Some freely usable images I have collected from the WWW or transferred from local Wikipedia sites to Wikimedia Commons.

I have improved some of these images with GIMP or PhotoShop before uploading them, and always taken care to add a proper description and matching categories for them on Commons.

NB: Many more transferred images can be found in the category Flickr files uploaded by Aristeas; I do no longer add transferred images to this list when they can be retrieved via that category.
