I couldn't help noticing that there appear to be a couple of missing provinces... :P pfctdayelise (translate?) 13:21, 13 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You're quite right. They weren't my favourites but I still added them anyway ;-). NielsF 17:17, 13 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
This is realy great! That makes hours of typing the names into audiofiles and recording them worthwhile. I hope wikipedia's find good use for the files. Thank you for making this a nice page! Quichot 20:42, 13 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
There's one missing, Image:049 Hengelo.ogg. User:dbenbenn 01:16, 14 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I've left a message for Quichot on his dutch talpage, so that should be solved soon. NielsF 02:02, 14 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, there are pronunciation files for many (all?) Dutch municipalities already in Category:Dutch pronunciation. I was going to add links to these files at EN, but I noticed they're already there. User:dbenbenn 01:33, 14 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah I saw that there were already quite some files too. What do you propose to do about that? NielsF 02:02, 14 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well, presumably they should be included here too. This page isn't personal to Quichot, after all. User:dbenbenn 04:57, 2 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
This page isn't personal to Quichot, after all. Where did I say that? Its just that at least on this page files are easily found, whereas the rest is completely untraceable in a category with all Dutch pronunciation files. What I meant by what do you propose to do about that? was purely you're the sysop (read experienced user) here, what do you think we could do about the double files. So, how do we do something about that? Include the other files, for example in this way:
Province of Groningen
  • Municipality of Groningen
A lot of work, but maybe worth the effort? NielsF 02:00, 3 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Regional speakers

[edit]

As in other languages, names spoken in Dutch have regional differences. How native are the two speakers of those files? Aliter 00:50, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The files listed here sofar are done by 1 speaker, and he's tried, and as sofar I'm concerned, succeeded to pronounce all the names in Standard Dutch. NielsF 03:13, 2 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Dank!

[edit]

Quichot, dank voor het inspreken van al deze namen - het lijkt me dat dat nogal een werk is geweest.
