共享资源:维基数据
维基数据是一个维基媒体项目，致力于创建开放和协作的数据库。它类似于维基共享资源收集媒体文件一样收集数据：它集中了结构化数据的访问和管理，例如跨wiki参考资料和统计信息。维基数据同样支持维基媒体项目的所有语言。它同样于维基共享资源部署（自2013年9月起）。

维基数据上的维基共享资源
儲存在維基數據中的維基共享資源資料分為兩種類型：站點連結，以及項目中的聲明。
站點連結
站點連結確認維基頁面和維基數據項目的一對一關係。這是在維基數據某項目的右側（寬螢幕）或下方（窄螢幕）進行添增或編輯。
只有共享資源的圖片藝廊與共享資源的分類應該從維基數據的項目中建立站點連結。

Information about Commons can be stored on Wikidata using statements. Statements can be read by templates and programs which access Wikidata. Statements can be added and edited in the left side of the Wikidata page for an item. Some statement examples are presented below:
