- Support I want to tell the deer "Hey! You've got stuff on your right antler!" But seriously, great photo! -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 23:47, 9 September 2023 (UTC)

- Support The rain makes it even nicer. ★ 02:31, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose The raindrops(?) distract me from the subject. --SHB2000 (talk) 10:57, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
- I'm sorry. That is the essence of the photo and the hugely witty (?) description of "rain deer". Charlesjsharp (talk) 18:31, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
- Eh, as a native English speaker, the pun didn't immediately scream at me when I saw this image – I doubt most people will, either, unless it's clearly mentioned (which is not possible through a photo). --SHB2000 (talk) 06:58, 11 September 2023 (UTC)

- Support It's weird to see a deer in the rain without raindrops. - ABAL1412🇻🇳🇸🇺🇷🇺 (talk ☭) 15:20, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
- Support This is a white-tailed deer, not a rain deer (whatever that is), and it is a stunning animal that appears to be strong and healthy. A preferred prey item for human hunters, along with elk, moose, and you know the rest. I think the rain enhances the main subject, and that's that. 20 upper 18:33, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
- Sorry. For non-English speakers: "rain deer" is a pun on "reindeer". Charlesjsharp (talk) 18:37, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
- Why did you just refer to me as a non-English speaker, excuse me? 20 upper 19:06, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
- I humbly believe that what he meant by the term "non-English speakers" was in fact those who do not have English as their mother tongue. I assure you, his intention was never to cause any offense. To clarify his point, he even provided an example, noting that "rain deer" is a playful pun on "reindeer". I sincerely hope you won't take it the wrong way. We are all here to uplift and support one another in our learning journey. --Wilfredor (talk) 03:21, 11 September 2023 (UTC)

- He doesn't mean to offense you. I guess he thought that there was an "eggcorn", and then try to explain it. Btw, that's also how I improve my English. Write something wrong, and then, some native speakers appear to help me fix it. -
