La statue est dans un square du quartier Katajakokka

Le quartier de Katajanokka (Skatudden) sépare les parties nord et sud du port d'Helsinki. Dans sa partie la plus ancienne, ce quartier possède des ensembles très homogènes d'habitations construites au début du 20ème siècle dans un style "art nouveau" finlandais (Jugendstil, Jugend) c'est à dire teinté de romantisme national.
